It is with regret that Saras Sanctuary is currently unable to accept any new animals other than the abused and disabled. We have had a steady increase of owner-surrendered and unwanted pets, the majority of which have arrived here with no financial donations from their owners in exchange for the lifetime of care that Saras Sanctuary provides. As a result, the sanctuary has had to focus its attention to offer assistance only to animals that have sadly endured injuries and/or neglect. Without financial support, it has become very difficult for Saras Sanctuary to provide sustenance and housing for so many once-beloved pets. We find ourselves in a position of needing to utilize our existing resources to provide for all the animals that presently call Saras Sanctuary their permanent home. We can no longer make exceptions to owners who no longer want their pets without compromising the care of all the animals currently residing at the sanctuary.
Saras Sanctuary is committed to providing the best possible care for disabled animals that have nowhere else to go. We need your help in order for Saras Sanctuary to continue its efforts to provide for the innocent animal victims in our community. We wish to continue our mission to provide for abused and disabled animals, but without your financial help or volunteer services, it simply isnt possible.
